They gave my son a second chance at life!
In 2019 My son, Emmanuel Simuyu, was diagnosed with a urinary tract blockage
(ureteral obstruction) when he was only three years old. We visited several big
hospitals, Nairobi, Kenya, including Kijabe Hospital, Mbagathi, and St. Mary’s Hospital, but unfortunately, there was no improvement.
Most of them suggested that surgery was the only option.
A Journey of Healing at HH Integrated Healthcare
Mid-2023, after years of being an active daily jogger covering 7 km every morning, I began
experiencing severe pain in my hip. Over the next three months, I sought treatment in India, South
Africa, and Kenya — all of which pointed me toward one conclusion: Hip Replacement Surgery.
I’m sharing this story to encourage anyone dealing with chronic pain, circulation issues, or long-term
medication side effects to consider safe, effective treatment before considering surgery.
“Dear Dr. Anny,
You were very important for me and for my pregnancy!
Thank you for all of your support and wonderful care.
I’m pleased to let you know that our baby was born. He is very healthy and we are so happy.”
“I have been in treatment with Dr. Anny Chung since summer 2016 with many sessions of lymphatic drainage therapy and also acupuncture. Dr Anny was very professional from the beginning and helped me to cope with stress and other matters. She always gave me very useful advices beside my sessions. I would encourage everybody to take contact with them.”
“I came to HH Healthcare struggling with a number of health problems including
migraines, Hair loss, obesity and PCOS. I told Dr. Anny my problems and she told me we will treat these problems one at a time.
After 6 sessions I felt like a new person. I no longer had pain and had lost 10Kgs. After sometime I became pregnant and God blessed me with a baby girl early 2024. I’d like to thank Dr. Anny for all the treatments during this trying time in my life.”
“I had a truly rejuvenating experience at HH Healthcare. From the moment I walked in, the serene atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The space is calm, clean, and welcoming. The service was exceptional; every staff I interacted with was not only professional but also genuinely caring and attentive. I left feeling refreshed, balanced, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!”

after surgery!
After my back surgery, I received physio and relief from the HH Healthcare facility. The therapists were knowledgeable and tailored each session to my needs. The facility was clean and serene. I've been feeling stressed lately, and this place truly helped me regain strength after my back surgery. The treatment at HH Healthcare has been incredible. Greetings from Dr. Jong at HH Healthcare. We hope you’ve read the remarkable stories on our website. We
have many more inspiring stories from individuals such as Mama Ida Odinga, as well as numerous Members of
Parliament, Senators, Governors, and Ambassadors.
Allow us to briefly share the case of Hon. Hassan Joho, who is currently serving as a Cabinet member. After an
accident, he sought treatment from top spine specialists in Dubai and Nairobi. He then traveled to one of the
world’s leading spine hospital in Germany. Unfortunately, his condition did not improve, and all specialists
recommended SURGERY.
Back in Kenya, a friend introduced him to HH Healthcare. After just one treatment session without surgery or
medication, he experienced significant recovery. Stories like this show why HH Healthcare offers a truly
distinctive solution.
HH Blood Clots R&D Center
Blood clots can significantly contribute to slow recovery from various conditions. Blood clots restrict blood flow to vital organs and tissues, hindering the body’s natural healing processes and leading to complications like pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs) or deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
HH Blood Clots R&D Center is a distinctive research unit within HH Integrated Healthcare, dedicated to providing individualized recovery programs based on each patient’s blood clots components.
Through our innovative approach combining traditional wisdom with modern therapeutic standards, we deliver tailored recovery programs aligned with each individual’s needs and rehabilitation goals, aiming to restore health and independence as quickly and safely as possible.
Through innovative, non-surgical approaches, the HH team of specialists has successfully treated patients from across Africa and the Middle East, Europe and United States—many of whom were previously told that surgery was their only option, making us a trusted hub for non-surgical treatment both regionally and internationally.
Overview
Blood clots are semi-solid or gel-like masses that form in your arteries and veins. Blood clots help control bleeding, but they may also cause serious medical issues, including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism-where the clot gets stuck in a blood vessel in the lung, causing severe shortness of breath, heart attack and even sudden death.
Blood clots after surgery or accidents
Surgery is one of the major causes of blood clots. Blood clots can significantly contribute to slow recovery from various conditions.
Here’s why blood clots can slow recovery:
Impaired Blood Flow:
Blood clots restrict blood flow to vital organs and tissues, hindering the body’s natural healing processes.
Organ Damage:
If a clot blocks blood flow to an organ, it can cause damage and impair its function, requiring more time for recovery.
Complications:
Clots can break off and travel to other parts of the body (e.g., from a DVT to the lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism), leading to serious complications and prolonged recovery.
Post-thrombotic Syndrome:
In some cases, DVT can damage veins, leading to post-thrombotic syndrome, characterized by pain, swelling, and skin changes, which can significantly slow down recovery and affect quality of life.
Increased Risk of Recurrence:
People who have experienced blood clots are at a higher risk of developing them again, which can interrupt the recovery process and require ongoing treatment.
Specific Conditions:
Blood clots can be a major factor in slow recovery from strokes (if a clot blocks blood flow to the brain) and other conditions where blood flow is critical for healing.
Longer Hospital Stays:
Due to complications and the need for treatment, blood clots can lead to longer hospital stays and delayed discharge.
Medications:
Blood thinners are often used to treat blood clots, but they can also increase the risk of bleeding, which can slow down recovery.
Why Does Cancer Increase the Risk of DVT?
People with cancer are at an increased risk of developing these dangerous blood clots. Research has shown that there is a clear connection between cancer and DVT. This is because some of the genetic changes that cause cancer increase the activation of clotting factors.
Many chemotherapy drugs used to fight cancer can also increase the activation of clotting factors. If you already have a condition that increases the activation of clotting factors, your risk of developing a blood clot during cancer treatment increases more.
Certain conditions may increase your risk of blood clots. They include:
- inherited disorders, such as the Factor V Leiden mutation
- a prothrombin gene mutation
- a protein C deficiency
- a protein S deficiency
- an antithrombin III deficiency
